Preparing for Readercon

So this weekend we're getting ready for Readercon. I've been making sure that I have questions prepared for my two panels: Writing for Electronic Devices at noon on Friday, and the workshop How to Write for a Living When You Can't Live Off Your Fiction, which will be Friday at 3 p.m. (Incidentally, I've kept a somewhat active site called Resources for Freelance Writers that is an offshoot of that workshop, and that I update with resources and small news items.)

I'm also getting ready for the Crossed Genres reading, which will be Saturday at noon, and my individual reading, Sunday at 11 a.m.

I'm really looking forward to it — to attending the other panels, and hearing some people whom I admire very much do readings. I usually don't do a post-convention blog — I'm usually trying too hard to catch up at work when I get back — but this time I'll try to keep track of at least the events I attend.

Hope to see you there!
